Seasonal Lanterns

Investigating the natural order within nature, moment in time through to the sublime, to give notice to the public allowing them to contemplate the mysterious of nature. How time is only momentary, and the fragility of a paper sculpture would eventually decay, although the current moment is subline. The circular motion embodies ‘the circle of life’, the swirling paper quilling perfectly embodies the idea of cycle and the change within the seasons throughout the year. Questioning the nature of colour, form and through the physical manipulation of the material to create these three-dimensional forms.
